Estate Planning After The Election

Regular price $129.00

It appears that Joe Biden has now been elected President and that the Republican party will retain control of the Senate. What does this mean for estate planning, both over the next two years, as well as beyond? Jim Blase, CPA, JD, LLM, will address the following specific estate planning concerns raised by the election, and propose a plan of attack for each:

  • Current estate and gift tax exemption may end before 2026;
  • The so-called "SECURE Act" remains;
  • Valuation discount estate and gift tax regulations may return; and
  • Income tax basis step-up at death in jeopardy.

Presenter: James G. Blase, CPA, JD, LLM
